Use of cookies

A ‘cookie’ is a small text file that’s stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website.

This site uses cookies mainly for the purposes of delivering training content and managing learner sessions. For example, our use of cookies allows us to record what point in the training content a learner has reached. So if a learner decides to stop going through the course on one device, when they log in next time, from either the same device or a different one, the session data recorded in the database allows the learner to continue from where they left off, rather than having to start again.

Another use of cookies is for Server Analytics. These are used to collect information about how visitors use this site. The information is used to compile reports and to help improve the site. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.

If you want to learn more about cookies, what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them, visit www.aboutcookies.org. Alternatively, you can search the internet for other independent information on cookies.
